Via the freeway A 44 (Dortmund-Kassel), exit Diemelstadt,
then in south direction via the federal highway B 252 until shortly before
Twistetal-Twiste, between Bad Arolsen-Mengeringhausen and Twistetal-Twiste, turn to the
country highway L 3118, about 3 km behind Horinghausen to the federal highway B 485, after
about 5 km left to the country highway
L 3388 and straight on to the destination town. Here you will reach the Marktplatz (market
place) via the Sachsenhauser Strasse; if you follow the mainstream, you will drive right
into the Schlossstrasse. After about 200 meters, take the right turnoff and follow
the signs to the 345-wald castle hotel lake Edersee.
From direction Hanover / Hannover and Kassel
Via the freeway A 7 to the Kasseler Kreuz (crossing), there take the
freeway A 7 until the Sudkreuz Kassel (south crossing), there take the freeway A 49 until
exit Wabern, there take the federal highway B 253, turn right to the federal highway B 485
near Bad Wildungen. Turn left about 1 km before the destination town to the country
highway L 3256, in town via the Bahnhofstrasse (train station road) and take the turnoff
left at the corner Bahnhofstrasse / Schlossstrasse and follow the signs to the 345-wald castle hotel lake Edersee.
From direction Frankfurt on the Main River
Via the freeway A 5 in north direction, take the freeway A
45 at the Gambacher Kreuz (crossing), then in northwest direction to the Giessener
Sudkreuz (south crossing), take the freeway A 485 there and then take the federal highway
B 3 at the Giessener Nordkreuz (north crossing), further on via Marburg until Bad Zwesten,
take the federal highway B 485 there and further on via Bad Wildungen in direction of the
destination town. Turn left about 1 km before the destination town to the country highway
L 3256, in town via the Bahnhofstrasse (train station road) and take the turnoff left at
the corner Bahnhofstrasse / Schlossstrasse and follow the signs to the 345-wald castle hotel lake Edersee.
